Wilbur Edward "Bimbo" Branson, 62, of Owensville, Mo. passed away on Sunday, August, 14, 2016, at University Hospital in St. Louis.
Wilbur was born in Owensville on November 15, 1953, to the late Wilbur Eugene and Lorraine (Bleitner) Branson. After the death of his father he was raised by his mother and her husband, Wilber Vincent. He enjoyed working on vehicles and owned and operated Vincent's Sales and Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Wilber Vincent.
His survivors include his son, Don Branson and wife, Naomi of Lee's Summit; friend, Patricia Firsick of Mt. Sterling; sisters, Judy Crider and Trent, Wilma Morey and husband, Frank, and Rose Micke all of Owensville; brother, John Branson of Owensville; stepbrothers, Larry Vincent and wife, Pat of Warrenton and Kirby Vincent and wife, Glenda of Springfield.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 20 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Glen Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville City Cemetery.
