Vivia Lou Vossbrink Wuertz Detert, 83, of Leslie, Mo., passed away on
Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at her residence.

Vivia was born in Washington, Mo. on Jan. 7, 1934, to the late Theodore Henry and Flossie Ethel (Dulany) Vossbrink. On Sept. 26, 1985, at New Friendship Baptist Church she was united in marriage to Charles W. Detert.
She was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Leslie and a
member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She owned and operated Log Cabin Pottery outside of Rosebud until 2004.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; and a brother in infancy.

Her survivors include her children, Kimberlee Wuertz and Matthew Wuertz of Leslie and Theodore Wuertz and his fiancé Cherie Warren of Union; grandchildren, Matthew T., Chloe, Tate and Fiona Wuertz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 2 from 9-11 a.m. at Antioch Christian Church in Leslie.

Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor David Axenweiler officiating.

Her remains will be interred at St. Paul's Cemetery in Gerald.
