Obituary
Marian C. Schlottach, 96, of Owensville, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Frene Valley of Owensville.

Marian was born on May 12, 1921, in Bland to Arthur and Lydia (Traub) Mueller. On May 8, 1941, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Bay she was united in marriage to Arthur Albert Schlottach. She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ in Charlotte where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship. She enjoyed baking, baby sitting and was a care giver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lydia Mueller; husband, Arthur Albert Schlottach; and son, Rodger Schlottach.

Her survivors include her children, Kenneth Schlottach and wife Cheryl of Owensville, Janice Prenger and husband Michael of Jefferson City, Charles Schlottach and wife Karen of Owensville, and Katherine "Kathy" Schlottach and Don Brandt of New Haven; daughter-in-law, Edna Schlottach of Owensville; sister, Dorothy Donet of Griffin, Ga.; grandchildren, Scott and Todd Schlottach, Margaret Reissen and husband Jason and Jerri Patrick, Eric Schlottach and wife Jill, Martin Schlottach and wife Heather, Amanda Okenfuss and husband Ryan, Erika Rada and husband Doug, Christopher Prenger and fiancé Sarah Riley-Land, Matthew Prenger, Gustav Schlottach and fiancé Ashley Monasmith, Woodrow Schlottach and wife Devon, Grace Schlottach and fiancé Benjamin Jett, Justin Brandt and wife Melinda; and 20 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James United Church of Christ in Charlotte with Rev. Van Lahmeyer officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery in Charlotte.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 19 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
