Doraine Branson Tadlock, 87, of Columbia, Mo. died on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Mountain View Healthcare in Mountain View. She was only at the Healthcare three months. She previously lived in Willow Springs with her daughter, Shirleen and husband, Rick since May of 2012.

She was born on April 10, 1930, at Owensville to Everett and Rosalie (Mittendorf) Branson.

She was united in marriage to Paul Albert Tadlock on October 10, 1953, at First Baptist Church in Ferguson.

Doraine's profession was that of a music teacher, giving private piano lessons in her studio. Prior to marriage she was the church secretary at Ferguson Baptist Church in Ferguson. The family delivered flowers for Nowells Fowers in Columbia for many years. She and her husband took care of many children in their home for a number of years, while their parents worked. She was the WMU Director for the Little Bonne Femme Association for more than 20 years. She was the church pianist or organist in many of the churches in which she served over the years.

She was a member of Maness Memorial Baptist Church in Cabool and was a former member of Prairie Grove Baptist Church in Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Rosalie Branson; and husband, Paul Tadlock.

Her survivors include her children, Rev. Mr. Richard Tadlock and wife Maria of St. Charles and Shirleen Pilcher and husband Richard of Willow Springs; grandchildren, Jeff Tadlock and wife Loren of O'Fallon, Patrick Tadlock of Columbia, Ryan Pilcher and wife Jessica of Springfield and Meredith Pilcher of Burlington, Ky.; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel with Pastor Terry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
