Obituary
Gloria Jean Tayloe, 89, of Owensville, Mo., passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at her residence.

She was born on November 25, 1928, to John and Marie (Branch) Hagerty in Higginsville.

She was united in marriage to William Tayloe on July 10, 1954, at St. Louise Marillac in Jennings.

Gloria was a retired medical secretary and a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville, where she was a member of Our Ladies Sodality.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Hagerty; son, William H. Tayloe, Jr.; and brother, William Hagerty.

She is survived by her husband, William Tayloe; children: Nancy Poole (Allan) of St. Louis, Barbara Roemerman (Mark) of Shrewsbury, Michael Tayloe of Brentwood, and Kathryn Loida (Kevin) of Webster Groves; daughter-in-law, Sharon Tayloe; sisters: Rita Loseman of Owensville, and Loveigh Struttmann (Melvin) of O'Fallon; brother, James Patrick Hagerty (Judi) of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren: Nicole Hunter (Tim), Michelle Thrower (Andy Warren), Stephanie Tayloe, Kelly Williams (Greg), Grace Roemerman, Ryan Roemerman, Luke Roemerman, Haley Loida, Jack Loida, and Natalie Jane Loida; great-grandchildren: Aymerie, Mikayla, Gregory, Ajay, Isiah, Benjamin, Gussie Jayne, London, Madison, and Henry.

Beloved aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 9 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. Prayer service will be at 4:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial Service will be at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis (St. Louis Chapel) at 1:00 p.m.
