Thomas Ryan Duncan of Washington, departed this life on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He had reached the age of 32 years, four months, and 23 days.

Thomas was born April 17, 1984, a son of Dennis Franklin and Barbara J. (Muir) Duncan. He was united in marriage to Nicole Meyer on March 24, 2012 at Stanton, Missouri. Thomas was a loving father and husband and very well respected by co-workers. He attended college at Truman State University and was in ROTC for 3 years. He was an Eagle Scout, and graduated from Owensville High School in 2002. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, enjoyed fishing, BBQ, music, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Duncan in 1992 and his father-in-law, Richard Meyer in 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole (Meyer) Duncan; his mother, Barbara Duncan-Noblett and husband Randall of Owensville; his mother-in-law, Diane Meyer of Union, Mo.; his son, Anthony Schiller and his daughter, Loreleigh Duncan of Washington; one brother, Major Christopher Duncan and fiance Seung Hee of South Korea; a nephew, Ezra Duncan; a step-brother, Justin Noblett of Vienna, Mo.; a step-sister, Jessica Noblett of Vienna, Mo.; two sisters-in-law, Lois Warren and husband Kevin from Claremore, OK and Jo Dee Gillette from Union; and a niece, Sydnee Gillette of Union.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 16 at 11:00 am at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Linda AuBuchon officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 15 at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel from 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville.
