Loretta Bernadine Lairmore, 93, of Owensville, Mo., passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born on Oct. 13, 1924, to Anton and Catherine (Mengwasser) Raab at Rich Fountain.
She was united in marriage to James H. (Dud) Lairmore on May 5, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain.
Loretta was a homemaker and business owner of Dud's Tire Shop along with her husband. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Our Lady's Sodality in Owensville; and was a Director on the Lane Cemetery Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Lairmore; son-in-law, Gary L. Spurgeon; sisters, Mildred Taube and Irene Hoffman; and brothers-in-law, Joseph Taube, Steve Hoffman and Charles Hurst Jr.
She is survived by her children, James A. Lairmore and wife Diane, Janice Spurgeon, JoAnn Barch and husband Roger, Jerry Lairmore and wife Christine, Joyce Jose and husband Clinton all of Owensville and Judy Bridges and husband Raymond of Springfield; brothers, Alfred Raab and James Raab both of Rich Fountain; sisters, Mary Ann Hurst and Leona Martin and husband Norman both of Jefferson City and Pauline Stegemen and husband Ed of Wardsville; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren: Keith Lairmore and wife Christina and children, Morgan, Carter, Peyton, Brodie and Grayson, Melissa Heidbrink and children, Tyler, Anna and Chase, David Lairmore and wife Casey and son Max, Matthew Spurgeon and wife Ashley and children, Olivia and Alaina, Michael Spurgeon and wife Heather, Kurtis Barch and wife Amanda and children, Jacob, Zachariah, Isaak and Abigail, Cory Barch, Carla Echols and husband Bradley and children, McKenzy and Colton, Kyle Lairmore and Angela Sullivan, Kelley Lairmore and children, Rilan, Marley and Makena Farmer, Katie Schaning and husband Josh and children, Lydia and Keever, Thomas Jose, Sarah Jackson and husband Devin and children, Brenner, Everly and Brooks, Hannah Meyer, and husband Ryan, Nicholas Lenauer, Daniel Lenauer and wife Tina and children, Cody and Brandon, Lindsay Thompson and husband Phillip and children, Halle and Ellah and Angela Decker and husband Brian and children, Carson, Blaire and Abel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. Rosary will be at 3:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Fr. Wayne Boyer as the Celebrant. Burial will be in Lane Cemetery at Linn.
