Amil Ray Limberg, 83, of Gerald, Mo., passed away on Sat. Sept. 8, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on April, 18, 1935, to William Carl and Ada May (Stradford) Limberg at Rosebud.
He was united in marriage on Nov. 13, 1954, to Gladys Zeldine Crider at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Union.
Amil was a member of Rosebud Lions Club and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud. He was baptized and confirmed at St. James UCC at Drake. He served many years on Gerald-Rosebud Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, watching St. Louis Cardinals and attending his children and grandchildren's activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alda May Limberg; sisters, Emma Grob and Elsie Schulte; and brothers, Milford Limberg and Edwin Limberg.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Limberg of the home; children, Dennis Limberg and wife Keva, Donna Linhardt and husband James and Sandra Pohlmann and husband Terry all of Owensville and Sherri Story and husband Mark of Gerald; sisters, Esther Grob of Rolla and Della Bergman of Owensville; brother, Donald Limberg of Beaufort; grandchildren, Jacob and Chad Limberg, Nathan Linhardt and Ashley Farrar, Heather Bastunas and Nicole Pohlmann and Justin and Lindsay Story; and great-grandchildren, Asher Limberg, Shay, Taylor and Alyx Linhardt, Kash and Lawson Farrar, Dillon Schulte, Brynlee, Caleigh and Avery Bastunas and Olivia and Braelynn Story; and expecting a 13th great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Thurs. Sept. 13 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Gerald.
Funeral services will be on Fri. Sept. 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud with Pastor Joel Pike officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
