Robert L. Blackwell, 87, of Owensville, Mo. passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on April 18, 1931, to Byron and Nola (Beckham) Blackwell at Red Bird.
He was first married to Sylvia Jost and she passed in 1991, he then married Judy Haddox on Dec. 23, 1993, at the Hermann Courthouse.
He had served his country with the United State Army. He owned and operated his own barber shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Nola Blackwell; siblings, infant Lilli Mae Blackwell, Novella Shockley, Leonard Blackwell, Ruby Sotolar, Ruth Baumann, Lewis Blackwell, LaRue Blackwell and Reba Jett.
He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; children, Kenneth Crowder of Owensville and Christine Imler of Covington, Ga.; sister, Arletta Smith of Overland Parks, Kans.; grandchildren, Tasha Kragmeier and husband Jarrett of Owensville, Rebecca Imler of Covington, Ga., James Neil of Belle and Devin Imler of Covington, Ga.; and great-grandchild, William-Wolf Kragmeier of Owensville.
His body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
