Edwin Lee Limberg, 86, of Gerald, Mo. passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.

Ed was born in Rosebud on July 27, 1930, to the late William Carl and Alda Mae (Stradford) Limberg. He was baptized December 8, 1946 at Charlotte United Church of Christ in Owensville. He was united in marriage to Naomi Ruth Hollandsworth August 22, 1953, at Charlotte.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Milford Limberg; sisters, Emma Grob and Elsie Schulte; brothers-in-law, Fred Bergman, Donald Grob, Herman Grob, Merl Hollandsworth and Everett Hempelmann; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Limberg.

Ed is survived by his wife, Naomi; children, Russell Limberg and Kollette of Owensville, Dale Limberg of Rosebud, Judy Willoughby and husband, Mark of Owensville and Janell Althage and husband, Kurt of Washington; brothers Amil Limberg and wife, Gladys of Gerald, Donald Limberg and wife, Mary of Beaufort; sisters, Esther Grob of Rolla and Della Bergman of Owensville; sisters-in-law, Ramona Hempelmann of Gerald and Judy Hollandsworth of Salem; brothers-in-law, Melvin Schulte of Owensville, Roy Hollandsworth of Gerald and Donald Hollandsworth of Williamsport, Penn; grandchildren, Cara Willoughby Jenkins and husband, Bob of Ellisville, Britni Echols and husband, Brian of Owensville, Ross Althage of Washington, Chris Limberg and wife, Rene of Picayune, Miss., Michael Limberg of Slidell, La., and Karla and Kaleb Krupp of Owenville; and great-grandchildren, Hailey and Brennan Limberg of Picayune, Miss., Dawson Echols of Owensville and soon to be baby Jenkins of Ellisville.

Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 4th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Gerald. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Koppelmann officiating. Burial will be in Boeuff Presbyterian Cemetery in Gerald.
