Obituary
Jonathan James Milligan, 65, of Rosebud, Mo., departed this life on Monday, May 18, 2020.

He was born on March 29, 1955, to Joseph and Lorraine (Nale) Milligan in Philadelphia, Penn.

He was united in marriage to Karen Linhardt on Nov. 5, 1983, at Zion Lutheran Church in Harvester.

Jonathan was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud. He was a certified mechanic by trade who enjoyed classic car restoration and was a member of Yesterday's Cruisers car club. He loved to cook, grill and bake especially for Family Cookie Day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorraine Milligan; parents-in-law, Arthur and Leah Linhardt; his stillborn twin boys; sister, Lorraine Snodgrass; and sister-in-law, Susan Milligan.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Milligan of the home; daughters, Kelly Boze and husband Patrick and Kristin Milligan, grandchildren, Ethan and Jonathan Boze all of Owensville; brothers, Charlie Milligan, Chris and and wife Cheri Milligan and Andy and wife Ronnie Milligan all of Maryland Heights, Joe and wife Donna Milligan of St. Ann and Will and wife Paula Milligan of Lake St. Louis; sisters, Carolyn and husband Steve Chulick of St. Louis and Mary Milligan of Winfield; and brother-in-law, Bill Snodgrass of Springfield.


Visitation will be on Friday, May 22, 2020, from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 23,2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud with Pastor Tim Weiser officiating. His cremains will later be interred in the church cemetery in Rosebud.

Visitation and service are open to the public. However, while in the chapel please practice social distancing and refrain from hugging or handshaking. Masks are suggested but not mandatory. Thanks for your cooperation.
