Obituary
Virginia Lorene Toelke, 84, Pittsfield, Ill. formerly of Gerald, Mo., passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Liberty Village Pittsfield, Ill.

Virginia was born Sept. 12, 1935, to Guy David and Iva Marie (Ramsey) Skelton in Beaver Dam, Mo.

She was united in marriage to George Edward Toelke, Jr. on April 2, 1955 at St. Louis, Mo.

She worked as a waitress for many years. Virginia enjoyed visiting, playing bingo and was an avid Cardinal's fan. She was a member of Ebenezer Stone Church outside of Gerald.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Skelton and Iva Skelton Waliszewski; her husband, George Toelke, Jr., a stillborn daughter, Debera Sue Toelke, and one sister, Phyllis Wilson.

Her survivors include her children; Kathleen A. Toelke of Edwardsville, Ill., Carolyn Sue Roderick and husband Douglas of St. Charles, Mo., George D. Toelke and wife Rachel of Pittsfield, Ill, and Steven E. Toelke and wife Tracy of Labadie, Mo.; a sister Marilyn June Seel of St. Louis, Mo. and six grandchildren; Emily Roderick, Jack Roderick, Garrett Toelke, Katelyn Toelke, Hannah Toelke, and Grace Toelke, and two step-grandchildren; Zackery Johnson, and Dane Hartman.

Funeral services will be at at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30th at Ebenezer Stone Church located at 6162 Stone Church Rd, Gerald, Mo. 63037 with Pastor Glenn Hollander officiating. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the service at Ebenezer Stone Church Cemetery.

Visitation and services are open to the public. However, due to COVID-19 virus concerns, please practice social distancing and refrain from hugging or handshaking. Masks are suggested but not mandatory. Thanks for your cooperation.
