Obituary
Dorcelene “Doris” Christine Drusch, 82, of Bland passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at her residence in Bland.

She was born July 2, 1938 to the late Frank and Cecilia (Samson) Branson in Linn, Mo.

Doris was united in marriage to Lee Roy Drusch on Aug. 17, 1957 at Linn.

Doris enjoyed listening to Elvis music. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cecilia Branson.

Her survivors include her husband, Lee Roy Drusch; her children, Doris Beckman and husband David of Florissant, Mo. and John Drusch of St. Peter's, Mo.; a brother, Wilford Branson of Bonnots Mill; four sisters, Mary Gove and husband Ralph of Freedom, Mo., Shirley Bonnot and husband Cap of Loose Creek, Mo., Fern Hake and husband Walter of Holts Summit, Mo., and Bonnie Wagner and husband Rob of Westphalia, Mo. She was an enthusiastic grandma and great-grandma to four grandchildren, Christian Zwick, Kevin Zwick and wife Chelsea, Joel Zwick and wife Shanna, and Taylor Drusch; and four great-grandchildren, Claire Zwick, Ada Zwick, Carl Zwick, and Samuel Zwick.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Mon. Aug. 3rd at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Glen Duncan officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2nd at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville. Burial will be at Old Bland Cemetery at Bland.

Memorials may be given to the Humane Society.

Visitation and services are open to the public. However, due to COVID-19 virus concerns, please practice social distancing and refrain from hugging or handshaking. Masks are suggested but not mandatory. Thanks for your cooperation.
