Obituary
Patricia Ann Decker, 83, of Owensville, Mo., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home in Owensville.

She was born on July 3, 1937, to Jess Orville and Avis June (Ratliff) Matthews in Ellington.

She was united in marriage to James L. "Jim" Decker on Dec. 8, 1955.

Patricia was a graduate of Owensville High School. She retired as Office Manager from Beaufort Transfer after working there for 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Avis "Sis" Matthews; parents-in-law, Dewey and Minnie Decker; and son, James "Bo" David Decker.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Decker of Owensville; children, Diane Kay Decker and significant other Craig Garth of Owensville, Daryl "Hootie" Decker and wife Briana of Owensville, Tracy Bonnell and husband Mike of Overland Park, Kans.; sisters, Judy Kottwitz and husband Willard of Lakewood, Col., Evelyn Story and husband Carl of Hallsville, Jane Vandegriffe of Bland and Geri Lynn Carroll of Hallsville; daughter-in-law, Pam Idel and husband Chuck of Owensville; grandchildren, April Jardes and husband Brian of Lenexa, Kans., Zachary Dintelman and wife Fernnanda of Owensville, Clara Decker and fiancee Mike Swift of Lake of the Ozarks, Jade Irish of Orlando, Fla., Zebadiah Dintelman and significant other Haley Vandegriff of Jefferson City, Brian Decker and wife Angela of Owensville, Beau Decker and fiancé Erica Breece of Maryland Heights, Ethan Garth and significant other Maddie Ragan of Owensville, Chris Decker and fiancé Alexis Price of West Allis, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Decker Jardes, Carson Decker, Blaire Decker, Duke Jardes, Abel Decker and Levi Dintelman; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Her body was cremated and there will be a service and celebration of life for immediate family and friends at a later date.
