Obituary

Jennifer Jo Estes, 41, of Gerald, Mo., passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at her residence.

She was born March 11, 1981, to John Q. and Terry Beth (Evans) Estes in Charleston, W.V.

She was united in marriage to James Nutter June 10, 2017, in Hot Springs, Ark.

Jennifer enjoyed spending time with family especially her children. She also enjoyed dog grooming.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Kathy Estes.

She is survived by her husband, James Nutter of Gerald; father, John Estes of St. Louis; mother, Terry Word of Joplin; mother-in-law, Sherry Cunningham and husband Rick of Broken Bow, Okla.; children, Emily Nutter, Tristyn and Ryker Nutter all of Gerald; siblings, Derek Word of Joplin, Michelle Estes and Tiffany Estes both of St. Louis and Melissa Slimp of Joplin; and special aunt, Eunice Martin of Leesburg, Virg.

Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 18 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Gerald.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
