Obituary

John Edwin Krueger, 68, of Owensville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at his residence.

He was born April 21, 1954, to Clarence and Norma (Wulff) Krueger in Jefferson City.

John was a member of Grace Bible Church, and also served as a lay-pastor at Grace Bible Church.  He was well known for his kind and loving heart; he had a heart for helping people, especially teens and those who had no one else to help them. He enjoyed gardening and Bible study. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

John was an employee of the United States Postal Service at the time of his death and had worked for them for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Norma.

He is survived by his siblings, James Krueger and wife Ellen of Morrison, Daniel Krueger of Sedgwick, Kansas, David Krueger and wife Karen of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Paul Krueger and wife Ada of Hermann, Marilyn Paisley and husband Scott of Kankakee, Illinois and Norlene Goemaat and husband Philip of Milton, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 6, from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Wulff officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.
