Obituary

Barry A. Laycook 60, of Gerald, Mo., passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at his residence.

He was born March 29, 1962, to Robert M. and Pansy Mae (Price) Laycook in Washington.

He was married to Cynthia Sue Mesger Sept. 8, 1984, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald.

Barry enjoyed cutting wood, cutting grass, fishing and anything outdoors.  He loved his little dog "Trash."

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; wife, Cynthia; son, Adam;  siblings, Brian Laycook and Kelly Sohn; and brother-in-law, Larry  Crow.

He is survived by his mother, Pansy Laycook of Gerald; brothers, Robert Laycook and wife Cheryl of Calhoun and Chris Laycook of Lee's Summit; sisters, Pam Crow of St. Clair, Patricia Krupp of Washington and April Danz and husband Kenny of Rosebud; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

His body was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
