Janet Ann Myers, 78, of Owensville, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Frene Valley Healthcare in Owensville.

She was born on Sept. 23, 1941, to Leo Sr. and Lilly (Mohesky) Parmentier in Washington.

She was united in marriage to Gerard Myers on Feb. 19, 1966, in Washington.

Janet was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville. She enjoyed cooking and cooking for family meals, outside yard work, especially weed eating. She was known for her chocolate chip cookies and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Sr. and Lilly Parmentier; daughter, Ann Myers at birth; siblings, Leo Parmentier Jr, Shirley Fitzgerald; brothers-in-law, Ed Leroney, Wayne Myers, Ronald Myers and Fitz Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her husband, Gerard Myers of the home; children, Wendy Hartmann and husband Dennis of St. Clair, Debra Tweedy and significant other Bryan Thompson of Owensville, Craig Myers and significant other Gina Sumner of St. Clair and Michael Myers and wife Brandy of Owensville; siblings, Jerry Parmentier and wife Betty of Washington, Karen Myers of St. Clair, Dale Parmentier and wife Jean of Washington; sisters-in-law, Jackie Parmentier of Washington and Ann Myers of St. Clair; grandchildren, Gregory Tweedy and wife Alicia, Chad and Scott Tweedy, Mason and Makena Myers and Payton, Logan and Brenner Myers; step granddaughter, Kelsea McKeever and husband Jim; step great-grandson, Leo; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and expecting great-grandchild in Dec.

Visitation will be on Friday, Aug. 7 from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Father Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery Owensville, Mo.

Visitation and service are open to the public but please observe restrictions. Mask are required at the church.
