Naomi Ruth Limberg, age 84, of Gerald, Mo., passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
Naomi was born June 14, 1936, to Lee and Nettie (Holt) Hollandsworth. She was baptized and confirmed at Boeuff Presbyterian Church. Naomi was united in marriage to Edwin Lee Limberg August 22, 1953, at St. James Charlotte Church. Edwin preceded her in death on October 30, 2016.
For many years Naomi worked at Paramount Cap, Gerald Department Store and her favorite, for Boeuff Presbyterian Church. She made sure the church and everything within it met her high standards for order and cleanliness. Naomi loved to stay busy whether it be working outdoors, straightening up Dad’s garage or going on long walks with her sister, Ramona. She was so independent and no job was too large for her. Naomi never knew a stranger, she saw the best in everyone and would greet all that crossed her path with a smile.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin Limberg; brothers, Ray Hollandsworth, Donald Hollandsworth and Merl Hollandsworth; sister-in-law, Judy Hollandsworth and brother-in-law, Everett Hempelmann.
Her survivors include her children, Russell (Kollette) Limberg, Dale Limberg, Judy (Mark) Willoughby, Janell (Kurt) Althage; her grandchildren, Chris (Rene’) Limberg, Michael Limberg, Cara Willoughby-Jenkins and husband Bob, Britni (Brian) Echols, Ross Althage and special friend Lydia, Karla Pyle and Kaleb Pyle; great-grandchildren, Hailey Limberg, Brennan Limberg, Dawson, Dax and Denver Echols and Charlotte Jenkins; her siblings, brother Roy Hollandsworth and sister Ramona Hempelmann; sisters-in-law Gladys Limberg, Esther Grob and brothers-in-law Don (Mary) Limberg and Melvin Schulte plus many nieces and nephews.
Please join us in the celebration of her life. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am Thursday, Dec. 31 at Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 with Pastor Ron Koppelmann, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Boeuff Presbyterian Cemetery.
